Back in the Swing...
Today was the second day back after having a terrible cold. Who could miss Halloween? Not me, so Friday I returned to work to take down the Halloween decor during 6th period. Now, with a very tall ladder, I am able to add my fall leaves to the sky in my library. School nurses used the library for hearing and vision screening, so it was absolutely silent (by mandate) in my library today. I also met with the Gale-Cengage rep to discuss databases. Immediately I shared the vitals with my principal. Hopefully, fingers crossed, funding and teacher bye-in will follow suit. Overall, it was a quiet yet productive day in the library.
Picture Book Month!
I have discovered a terrific challenge for this month: writing an idea for a picture book daily! Wow! That might seem overwhelming but after reading (and feeling the energy from the post), I think anyone could do it! Here's the link to the challenge and what not. PiBoIdMo created by Tara Lazar.
